Didcot won a comfortable game against Summertown to maintain their one hundred per cent record. They took the lead after six minutes when a Liam Vaughan cross was turned in by Declan Hargreaves. It was 2-0 minutes later when a fine through ball by Tyler Brown was flicked on by Declan Hargreaves to Jack Hooper who fired home. Didcot added three more goals before half time from Charlie McDermaid, James Pearson and a second for man of the match Jack Hooper to make it 5-0. Summertown got a goal back at the start of the second half after a fine move before Louie Bumpass made it 6-1 with a right foot strike after he had fired wide just before. It was nearly seven just after but James Pearson was denied by the post but the game finished 6-1.
Didcot scored with their first attack of the second game when a Ben Marshall corner was turned in at the far post by Joseph Madge. Jack Tinsley then made a fine save in the Didcot goal and Summertown fired just wide from the resulting corner. The Summertown keeper who had a fine game then twice denied Josh Lyons before he was denied again, this time by the post. Summertown equalised at the start of the second half when a half blocked shot was turned in and that was the last of the scoring in the game. This was due to fine defensive performance by Didcot's man of the match Jamie Barrett and more heriocs from the Summertown goalkeeper who stopped everything including a Ben Marshall penalty. The second game finished 1-1, 7-2 on aggregate over the two games, credit should go to both teams though as they produced an entertaining game on a very heavy pitch.
