HE failed to attend court on charges of handling stolen goods and now he lurks behind door No 11 of the Oxford Mail’s Badvent Calendar.

Michael Pritchard, 41, was due to attend Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Thursday for breaching bail conditions ordering him to stay at an address in Milton Keynes.

But after failing to turn up, magistrates issued a warrant for his arrest.

Pritchard was originally charged by police last month.

Det Sgt Andrew Thompson, of Oxford’s burglary team, said: “We believe Pritchard is living in the Oxford area and I appeal to anyone who recognises his picture to get in contact with police immediately.

“He is white, around 5ft 6in, skinny, with short, ginger hair.

“He was recently spotted in the East Oxford area.

“If you have seen him around the city, or know of his whereabouts, please get in touch.”
