Iwas very pleased to see David Cameron doing his bit to support the performing arts this week when he took two of his children to The Theatre, in Chipping Norton — which is close to his constituency home — to see the Christmas pantomime.
The Prime Minister joined members of the cast for an on-stage photocall, telling them he found Beauty and the Beast hugely enjoyable.
John Terry, the director, said: “ It’s been a hugely successful show this year; and we hope it made a colourful change to the stresses and strains of prime ministerial life.”
I agree. But fingers crossed Private Eye doesn’t get hold of that picture, eh David?
