BEHIND the door of day eight lurks a man who police believe may have scrawled offensive graffiti on the front of a house in Cowley.
Altin Dulaj, 35, is the latest criminal suspect to appear in the Oxford Mail’s Badvent Calendar, where every day until Christmas we reveal another suspect wanted by police in Oxfordshire.
As well as the graffiti, he is also alleged to have vandalised a bicycle left outside the house in July this year.
In addition, police said he is believed to be of interest to immigration services, having already been served with a deportation order in 2003 and deported to Tirana in Albania in 2007.
Dulaj is 5ft 8in tall, with short, dark brown hair and he speaks English with a foreign accent.
Pc Matthew Hodgetts said: “We believe that Dulaj is in the Oxford area and I would urge him, or anyone who knows of his whereabouts, to come forward and speak to us as soon as possible.
“The criminal damage incident he was involved in saw him allegedly daubing offensive graffiti on the front of the property in Cowley.
“We know that Dulaj has a number of contacts in the city. Have you seen him around Oxford?”
Anyone with information about Dulaj’s whereabouts should call Pc Hodgetts on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
