Police are appealing for information after a shop in Headington was burgled.
Between 6pm on Friday and 8.30am on Saturday, burglars forced their way into the Cut ‘N’ Create hairdressers in London Road.
Once inside, they stole £349 in cash, money from a charity box that was on the counter, a number of pairs of scissors worth £630 and a £30 trimmer.
PC Laura Bowles said: “I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard anything, or anyone who has any information regarding this incident.
“This is a busy road that has buses, coaches, taxis and cars travelling along it at all times of the day, and I believe that someone must have seen something.”
Anyone with information should contact the PC Bowles via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 0845 8 505 505. Alternatively, you can contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
