A WOMAN who is wanted for fraud is lurking behind the door of today’s criminal countdown.
Themboni Masuku features in the Oxford Mail’s Badvent Calendar, which is bringing Oxfordshire’s wanted criminals under the spotlight.
Police hope to round all of them up before Christmas Day.
Masuku, aged 28, formerly of Spruce Gardens, Blackbird Leys, is wanted in connection with an on-going fraud investigation.
The person Masuku is alleged to have defrauded was a previous tenant at her address, who had filled out an online application form for a credit card and mistakenly had the card sent to the wrong address.
Over the period of a month Masuku is alleged to have racked-up £5,000 on the balance of the credit card.
She is known to use several aliases, including Themboni Patience Masuka, Tembeni Jessica Masuku and Jessica Masuku.
Pc Rebecca Froud said: “The victim became aware that something was going on when they chased up various documents and the card with the bank, and were told that it had already been dispatched.”
“Attempts have been made to trace Masuku, but we are yet to locate her.
“I would urge Masuku to come forward and speak to us in relation to this matter.
“I would also ask that anyone who knows of her whereabouts or who has seen her, to come forward and speak to us.”
Anyone with information should contact Pc Rebecca Froud on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
