SHOPPERS are being serenaded by the sounds of a traditional organ at Oxford Castle’s Christmas market.
Organ grinder Alan Roberts is raising money for Macmillan Cancer with his seasonal music, at the German-style event.
Wooden stalls selling hand-crafted Christmas gifts and seasonal treats such as spiced apple toddy and German Bratwurst are filling the Castle Yard until December 12.
The market will also host performances from local choirs and bands, including the Oxford City Singers and the Kidlington Concert Brass Band. Children can also take a ride on a small Victorian carousel.
