A retirement village near Wantage has won a What House? magazine Gold award in the Best Retirement Village category.
Richmond Letcombe Regis, opened in June by the Earl of Wessex, also scooped the Best Innovation in the UK Over 50s Housing Awards and was highly commended in the Best Retirement Development category of the International Property Awards.
The retirement village offers three forms of accommodation: assisted living apartments, independent living Apartments and care bedrooms.
Assisted living apartments at Letcombe Regis are priced from £275,000, independent living apartments from £310,000, and care bedrooms are charged on a weekly rental.
Paddy Brice, managing director of Richmond Villages, said: “These awards recognise the quality of life our residents enjoy at Letcombe Regis, both through the buildings we have created and the lifestyle and care we provide.”
