MRS J Hill (Last Friday’s ViewPoints), hit the nail right on the head.
Of course there are no clothes for the likes of us old fuddy-duddies.
Everything centres on the young these days (some of us still do snail-mail).
Dear lady, get on a number 10 bus, which will bring you to Templars Square, where you will find all you need (including a delightful winter scene where polar bears and reindeer compete with a lit-up village scene).
Apart from that we have Bon Marché, which caters for us ladies. Underwear no problem and nightwear too.
Family prices as well make it a good shop for us and we can keep up with the times.
Like you and many others, I miss Littlewoods. These cold and frosty days you can always curl up with a copy of the catalogue and shop by post or online if you must.
A very happy Christmas to all Oxford Mail staff and to all your readers.
