Prime Minister David Cameron was among the visitors to estate agents scottfraser’s new office in Witney last week.
The company, which took over the former Leigh & Sons building on Church Green, held an open day to mark the official launch of the branch.
Mr Cameron was in Witney to open a wing at one of the town’s secondary schools and turn on the Christmas lights.
Chris Rowntree, of Scottfraser, said: “Mr Cameron stayed for about five or ten minutes and asked about the market and what particular challenges we are facing at the moment.
“He also asked if there was anything he could do to help and told us things would be better for the whole market next year.”
