HI HO, hi ho, it’s off to new homes they go.
Seven life-size papier mache dwarfs have all been found new homes, thanks to the Oxford Mail.
Melville King, 79, spent two-and-a-half years creating the lifesize Disney characters out of old copies of the paper.
But the grandfather from Horspath had trouble finding homes for his creations and feared he was going to have to destroy them.
But thanks to an appeal in the Oxford Mail, the dwarfs have all now found places to live in Horspath. They are going to be separated and will each live with a family with young children.
Mr King said he was relieved the dwarfs and Snow White had found a new home.
He said: “It will be quite nice to see them go to houses with children. I think they’ll like them.”
He added: “Thanks for all the help trying to find them somewhere to go.”
