People convicted of offences at magistrates' courts around the county: Andrew Adams, 22, of Paradise Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting groceries to the value of £5.33 from Tesco Express in St Aldate’s, Oxford, on October 20. Fined £60 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.
Caroline Waite, 32, of Newman Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting household goods valued at £12.34p from Co-op in Oxford on October 20. Fined £60, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £30 costs.
Lariysa Yurkova, 30, of Jordan Hill Road, Oxford, admitted drink driving on the M40 at Great Milton on September 26. Namely having 129 miligrams of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80mg. Fined £400, £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for a year.
Dean Smith, 24, of Watermans Road, Henley-on-Thames, admitted driving without insurance, without an MOT and while disqualified in Station Road, Wallingford, on December 11, 2009. Fined £140, £15 victims’ surcharge and £100 costs. Also given six penalty points.
Russell Kingdon, 61, of Ashford Avenue, Sonning Common, admitted exposure in Sonning Common on June 24 and commission of a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence. Jailed for 10 weeks.
David Bento, 33, of Minchery Road, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work on October 9. Given an extra 10 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £25 costs.
Arron Eeley, 19, of Butler Close, Horspath, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work on October 10. Given an extra 10 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £50 costs.
Thomas Noble, 18, of Burchester Avenue, Oxford, admitted driving while disqualified in Islip Road on July 26 and in Valentia Close, Bletchingdon, on October 12; taking a motor vehicle without consent in Bletchingdon on October 12, and driving without insurance on the same date. Also admitted committing another offence while subject to a conditional discharge. Given a four-month detention and training order, due this being his ninth offence of driving while disqualified. Banned from driving for two years.
Matthew East, 30, of Laburnum Grove, Didcot, admitted assault by beating in Didcot on May 8. Fined £170, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
John Webb, 23, of Kynaston Road, Didcot, admitted assault by beating and obstructing or resisting a constable in Didcot on May 8. Fined £300, £50 compensation, £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Martin Cox, 38, of White Road, East Hendred, admitted using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Wantage on October 8. Fined £30, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £20 costs.
Steven Drewitt, 22, of Royal Berkshire Close, Didcot, admitted drink driving in Mowbray Road, Didcot, on October 10.
Namely having 55 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mg.
Fined £230, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. He was banned from driving for a year.
l Vikram Rai, 45, of Delamare Way, Oxford, admitted drinking driving in Cumnor Hill on September 11. Namely having 123 miligrams of alcohol in 100ml of urine, above the legal limit of 107mg. Fined £1,000, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for a year.
Michael Robertson, 29, of The Croft, Didcot, admitted drink driving on the A4130 in Didcot on October 9. Namely having 78 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £400, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 20 months.
Robert Churchward, 22, of Hamble Road, Didcot, admitted possession of 18.6g of cannabis (Class B) with intent to supply in Milton on July 10. Given 100 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £85 costs.
Thomas Larman, 18, of Watson Crescent, Wootton, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm in Abingdon on August 7. Given 200 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £1,000 compensation.
Trevor Larman, 47, of Belmont, Wantage, convicted of assault by beating in Abingdon on December 6. Given 100 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £600 costs and £100 compensation.
Jonathan Blizard, 45, of Reading Road, Wallingford, convicted of failing to comply with a request for information under the Child Support Act. Fined £135, £15 victims’ surcharge and £125 costs.
Joseph Thomas, 20, of Cherwell Close, Abingdon, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend unpaid work on September 12. Told to pay £100 costs and given 60 hours’ unpaid work for original offence of criminal damage.
