Grove Challengers U9's 0 Didcot Town Youth U9's 7.Didcot made hard work of beating the bottom of the league side but in fairness to Grove they played a lot better than their league position suggested. The opening game was tight with both teams only have two chances each, Grove hit the post via keeper Jack Tinsley's hands and had another great chance that went just wide before Joseph Madge hit the post and had another shot that went just wide for Didcot. Despite a man of the match performance from Josh Lyons for Didcot the first game finished 0-0.
Didcot dominated the second game creating twenty chances in the game and converting seven. After Declan Hargreaves and Louie Bumpass had both gone close, James Pearson hit the post and had a shot well saved by the Grove keeper before he opened the scoring and added a second just before half time. Didcot started the second half in the same vain as the first with James Pearson, Tyler Brown & Fred Bradshaw all having shots saved before Declan Hargreaves made it 3-0. James Pearson then completed his hat trick and scored a fourth shortly after before Declan Hargreaves scored his second and man of the match Fred Bradshaw completed the scoring to give Didcot a 7-0 victory over the two games.
