COTSWOLD Line Rail passengers are being reminded that late-night trains will be replaced by buses from next month, due to overnight tracklaying work.
Network Rail engineers will be working on the line as part of the £67m project to reinstate 20 miles of double track, including the section between Charlbury and Ascott-under-Wychwood.
As a result, the 9.18pm and 10.52pm trains from Oxford to Worcester will be replaced by buses on Mondays to Fridays from December 13 until May next year.
The buses will have extended journey times, due to the need to serve stations off the A44.
The 8.59pm and 10.40pm trains from Worcester to Oxford and London will also be replaced by buses at Cotswold Line stations.
However, the 8.59pm train will be diverted to Swindon for a connection to Oxford via Didcot.
