THREE decades after watching Charles and Diana’s wedding, a trio of fans are planning another trip to London to watch Prince William marry.
Sisters Rachel and Nicola Morgan, aged 11 and 13 respectively, older sister Christine and friend Christine Weller were among thousands of people who travelled to London on July 29, 1981.
And the two younger sisters, along with Miss Weller, are planning a repeat trip to watch Charles and Diana’s eldest son Prince William wed girlfriend Kate Middleton.
Back in 1981 the girls had a front row seat outside St Paul’s Cathedral after camping on the pavement for two nights to secure their spot.
Miss Weller, of Mulberry Drive, Bicester, who was 29 at Charles and Diana’s wedding, said: “I was a big fan of Diana, and with William using the same ring, I texted Rachel and said I think we should go to the wedding.”
