Police today appealed for information after two burglaries in South Oxfordshire.
At 6.15pm, yesterday, an alarm was activated after offenders forced their way into a house in Bix, near Henley. They stole an iPod, docking station and computer.
At about 3am today, four people were disturbed in a house in Wayside Green, Woodcote, after the occupant was woken by a noise downstairs. Property, including two laptops, keys and a purse had been stolen.
Det Con Georgina Bradley said: “We are not linking these burglaries but appeal for anyone who has information that could assist our enquiries to get in touch.
“An old-style silver four-door hatchback was seen in the Bix area on Monday evening. Did you see this vehicle in the area acting suspiciously? If you did, then please contact police immediately.”
Anyone with information that could assist police enquiries is urged to contact Det Con Bradley via Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. If you don’t want to speak to police and don’t want to leave your name contact the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
