ON THE weekend of October 22-25 a group of 56 Oxfordshire Scouts, Cubs and leaders set off for an adventure weekend held at PGL’s activity centre in Liddington, Wiltshire.
We took part in a huge variety of activities, including climbing, abseiling, archery, mountain biking, survivor skills and many more.
The children, aged between eight and 15, supported each other through each challenge, making news friends while having a great deal of fun.
Every person involved was sad to leave and many have already requested to go again.
The whole weekend would not have been possible without the support of a great leadership team and a fantastic grant of £3,107 from Oxfordshire Community Foundation grassroots grants.
Thank you very much.
CLAIRE LAWRENCE-FRENCH, Leader, Witney Buttercross Scouts
