A 48-year-old pedestrian died following an accident in Banbury yesterday.
The woman - who has not yet been identified - was in Gatteridge Street, near the junction with Britannia Road, when she was involved in a collision with a Toyota Corolla.
It happened at around 6.30pm.
The woman was taken to the Horton General Hospital in Banbury for treatment, but she died shortly after arriving.
The driver of the Toyota was uninjured in the incident and is helping officers with their investigations.
No one has been arrested in connection with this incident at this time.
