Kidlington Youth Rangers secured the points with a fine win against Abingdon Youth at Evans Lane Kidlington.
Abingdon were first on the score sheet when Harrison Ward scored with a fine shot from the edge of the Penalty Area after 10 mins.Kidlington responded well and were level when Will Newcombe scored from close range. The Remainder of the first half was even with both defences very strong.
The second half saw both teams playing some good passing football with chances being created but again defences came out on top.
Kidlington edged ahead when Sam Newcombe scored with a fine shot.Kidlington now had the upper hand and went further ahead when Raphael Rice scored after a great passing move. Will Newcombe score his second to put Kidlington 4-1 ahead. Abingdon battled hard and were rewarded when Harrison Ward netted his second with a fine header. Abingdon were now pushing hard to reduce the arrears when Kidlington broke from defence quckly with a great passing move creating a great opportunity for Will Newcombe.
