Packing-up has started as staff at financial and business advisers Grant Thornton prepare to move across Oxford to new premises.
The firm, currently in Botley, is uprooting to the Oxford Business Park, and will occupy 13,000 sq ft of Building 3140, Rowan Place, to join a range of major companies at the park including Oxfam, Harley Davidson, BT, Royal Mail and British Gas.
Wendy Hart, Grant Thornton’s Oxford office managing partner, said: “Grant Thornton has been in Oxford for more than 100 years, and in our current Botley offices for the last 25.
“While we will be sorry to say goodbye to West Oxford, we are excited about moving into a fabulous new Goodman building at a location which is already a key business centre for Oxford.
“The move underpins Grant Thornton's commitment to the Oxford market, and to the high quality experience we want for our staff and for visiting clients.”
Grant Thornton will occupy part of the first floor and the whole of the second floor of the building.
The company’s 111 staff are due to start work at the new site on January 17.
James Raven, development director of park operator Goodman, said: “Oxford Business Park is already home to a host of well-known brands and sector leaders.
“Grant Thornton certainly fits very well into this category and we are delighted to welcome it to the park.”
Oxford Business Park is home to 40 companies employing more than 4,500 people.
The park comprises 88 acres, offering high quality office space and on-site amenities including a hotel, restaurant, day nursery, and health and fitness centre.
