BUDDING artists, writers, musicians and film makers joined together to help secure their big break in the arts.
More than 60 people attended the Bright Young Things project at the O3 Gallery in Oxford Castle, where they met representatives from the arts world to showcase work and share ideas.
Organiser Emma Diffey said: “It was fantastic; a really great success. We nearly filled the gallery, which was great, so we are hoping to meet every two months now.”
Tuesday’s event followed a session in August in which dozens of artists exhibited their work at Oxford Town Hall.
Ms Diffey, a graduate of the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, funded the project herself, with help from sponsors. She said: “We are trying to help out these young people.”
