Two people have been charged in connection with three robberies in Oxfordshire.
David Colwill, 23, of Croxford Gardens, Kidlington, and a 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were charged yesterday evening with two counts of robbery.
These charges relate to the robbery of the Rainbow Café, in Magdalen Street, on Saturday and of the R&H News shop, in St Clement’s Street, on Monday.
The 16-year-old boy has also been charged with the robbery of Alison’s Animals in The Parade, Oxford Road, Kidlington.
Both were remanded to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.
A 20-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with the two incidents in Oxford has been bailed to appear back at St Aldate’s police station on 11 October.
A 27-year-old man is still in police custody.
