Rifleman Suraj Gurung, from the 1st Battalion, Royal Gurkha Rifles, died on Saturday while on foot patrol in Helmand Province when a suicide bomber detonated himself.
Royal British Legion standard bearers, ex-servicemen and members of the public will pay tribute to Rifleman Gurung when his cortege passes through Headley Way, Headington, Oxford, at about 4.30pm. Police warned last night that timings could change at short notice.
