After four minutes both sides had been on the attack; Cholsey two corners. In the seventh minute William Thomas tackles Ardington’s strong defence and slots it past the keeper. With the tenth minute dawning Cholsey’s striker shoots but Ardington’s keeper saves. At half time Cholsey were 1-0 up.
Ardington took the second half kick-off which was quickly intercepted by Cholsey’s star winger, Joe, who put in an early cross but was stopped by the goalkeeper. Soon after, Ardington’s number 7 scores a well earned goal by skilling Cholsey’s goalie. Cholsey then earn a corner and William Thomas misses a header but gets a throw. Joe takes the throw swiftly and William places the ball home. Ardington soon get a strong counter attack but Charlie, again, stops the ball from reaching the box. Ardington’s number 1 makes a good last save of the match. A home win for Cholsey place them 5th in the league. Cholsey Bluebirds man of the match was voted Charlie.
