TWO teenagers have ‘life threatening’ injuries following a car smash on Friday night, police said yesterday.
A red Fiat Punto left Cuddesdon Road in Horspath, at about 8.30pm and crashed into a ditch and collided with a brick footbridge. Two were cut free.
Its five male occupants were taken to John Radcliffe Hospital.
The 19-year-old driver and a 17-year-old rear sear passenger are in a critical condition with life threatening injuries, police said yesterday afternoon.
Another 19-year-old is in a critical condition and a 17-year-old has serious injuries and is in a stable condition.
The 19-year-old front seat passenger sustained minor injuries was later discharged. The road was closed for several hours.
