Police are trying to trace a woman in connection with a racially aggravated public order incident in Oxford.
At 4.09pm on Tuesday, August 31, the woman pictured in the CCTV image entered the Old Mans Premier shop in Courtland Road, Rose Hill, and bought a top-up card for her mobile phone.
The woman left the store then returned shortly after and confronted the cashier saying that the top-up card had not worked.
The woman became aggressive during the confrontation and began to racially abuse the shopworker before leaving the store.
PC Ashley Gardner said: “I would like to speak to anyone who knows or recognises this woman.
“This type of behaviour is totally unacceptable and should not be tolerated by anyone.
“If you are the person pictured here, I would advise you to come forward so that this matter can be dealt with.”
Anyone with information should contact PC Gardner via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 0845 8 505 505. Alternatively, you can contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
