HOW nice it was of your paper to do such a wonderful front page write up about the hero coach driver Trevor License who battled with a frenzied passenger who had grabbed his steering wheel on the M40 (Oxford Mail, September 4) The only time you seem to get letters about drivers is when they have done wrong or are late etc.
Very few correspondents write in when drivers have done good or have been so heroic.
A few weeks back, the driver on the Abingdon to Oxford bus had a passenger taken really ill.
He made sure she got help and was taken to hospital.
So thank you good drivers.
I hope Mr License gets fit and well and that he’s soon back at work with his friends.
