WALLINGFORD'S free town centre wi-fi internet network will be officially launched on Friday at a ceremony in the Market Place.
Wantage MP Ed Vaizey, whose ministerial portfolio includes promoting broadband technology, will cut a wire, rather than a ribbon, at 11am before sending emails to other towns called Wallingford across the world.
