Launton Boys maintained their 100% winning start in 1st season in OMBL at Bicester Rd. Generally this was a closely fought game with vistors St Edmunds always looking to build from the back and Alex Kerry prominent in many of their better moments.A howitzer like Free Kick from Tom Mullord produced a flying save from Launton keeper, Liam Hine early in 2nd half and this proved to be a pivotal moment as skipper Jack Evans gave Launton the lead soon afterwards. As St Edmunds poured forward in search of an equalizer, the Launton rearguard well marshalled by Alex Moore and Oscar Kernaghan held firm and Jordan Matthews netted a 2nd in a late breakway to seal the win. Launton Boys 2 - 0 St Edmunds
