PENNY Little (Oxford Mail, September 9) can be assured that the sale of non-dairy produce, and vegetarian substitutes for animal protein in supermarkets, is at an all-time high.
Consumers know that dubious farming practices are all too common and public health has been put at risk.
There is growing evidence to prove that many forms of cancer are caused by animal farming.
One needs only to walk along the corridors of a local cancer hospital where posters proclaim these causes of cancer for all to see!
Note, however, that such posters are not on display in our supermarkets.
We would all be vegan if they were.
