TELEVISION stars Brian Conley and Les Dennis dazzled in their bright outfits in Oxford yesterday.
The pair play husband and wife Edna and Wilbur Turnblad in the hit musical Hairspray, which runs for 15 performances at the New Theatre from October 12-23.
The show, set in the 1960s, follows the dreams of Baltimore teenager Tracy Turnblad who becomes an overnight star after a performance on TV.
Theatre spokesman Diana Hackett said: “It’s the first time the show has toured the country, after it finished in the West End in March, so tickets are going well.
“People coming along can expect a very fun, very bright and lively evening. It really will make you sing along.”
