THE former head of international bank Goldman Sachs and the oil firm BP will speak in Oxford next week about the international banking crisis.
Peter Sutherland will head a public discussion on how the economic climate has affected the relationship between Europe and its member states.
Mr Sutherland is the former chairman of BP and of Goldman Sachs International and is currently the UN Special Representative for Migration and Development.
The debate, Common Values and Federalism in Europe, will be held at St Anthony’s College, Woodstock Road, and has been organised by The Europaeum, an organisation comprising leading European universities including Oxford.
