Having met Ed Miliband at a climate conference I hope that he wins his leadership bid.
He coped calmly and politely with many demanding, and sometimes exasperating, questions from the Town hall audience last year.
Unlike his brother he is not a clown. When David Miliband was trying to usurp Gordon Brown he was pictured with a banana held aloft imitating Michael ‘Tarzan’ Heseltine.
The insinuation was that like the treacherous Heseltine he would metaphorically knife his leader in the back to gain power.
Not good political judgement befitting a future Prime Minister.
Something needs to be done about the widening gap between rich and poor.
I feel that Ed may have more principles than his pompous brother.
The coalition budget was a travesty of injustice against the less well off.
