A CHURCH is set to welcome a new minister to lead its services in Bicester.
The Rev Steve Barber will lead the Orchard Baptist Fellowship, which meets every Sunday at The Cooper School, in Churchill Road.
The father-of-three, whose wife Carolyn is a solicitor, has moved from Kent to take up the position.
He started his working life as a secondary school teacher, but five years later decided to become a church minister.
Mr Barber said: “I’m looking forward to getting to know people both in the church and in the town.
“It's a new area for the whole family, but we have already been made to feel very welcome by the church and by neighbours.”
The couple’s children Emily, Tom and Alice, attend the town’s Longfields Primary School.
