A charge of sexual assault has been dropped against a 55-year-old man accused of touching a woman as she boarded an Oxford bus.
The Crown Prosecution Service offered no evidence at Oxford Crown Court on Friday in the case of Cedric Pocock, of Brome Place, Barton, Oxford.
He had always denied the charges relating to a 24-year-old woman who claimed she was assaulted as she got on a bus in Banbury Road, North Oxford, on April 23.
