THE man who escaped this crash virtually unscathed was so lucky he “should be giving us all his Lottery numbers”, according to a paramedic.
The victim, believed to be in his 20s, had to be cut from his car after his Honda collided with a lorry at about 2.40pm on the A4260, between Kidlington and Tackley.
He was airlifted to hospital, but according to police spokesman Rebecca Webber was not seriously injured.
She said: “The driver, miraculously, only had very minor injuries.”
Alan Weir, operations manager for South Central Ambulance service, did not attend the incident but was passing the scene.
Mr Weir said: “He should be giving us all his Lottery numbers tonight because he was a very lucky man indeed.
“It is remarkable when you look at the damage to the driver’s side of the car and look at the size of the other vehicle.”
The road was closed until the early evening and diversions were put in place.
