A popular pub in an Oxfordshire village has come onto the market.
The Chequers Inn, Charney Bassett, near Wantage, comes with three recently refurbished and decorated en suite letting rooms and dining areas.
Dating from the 1800s and sItuated on the village green, the pub benefits from a main bar (for approximately 26) and a dining area with approximately 40 covers.
There is also three-bedroom owner’s accommodation on the first floor, and extensive gardens with seating for about 60 people.
Stewart Harkness, from agent Christie Co’s Milton Keynes Office, said: “This delightful country inn must be visited to be fully appreciated.
“Our clients have built a good level of trade but, unfortunately, due to family commitments, are no longer able to reap the benefits of their hard work.”
The lease is available for a £30,000 premium and £30,000 for the fixtures and fittings.
