Steven McLaughlin has joined property agent Carter Jonas as rural partner.

He will take on a range of rural and estate management responsibilities, helping to build the firm’s presence in areas such as rural finance, commercial mediation and rural professional services.

He will be working alongside fellow partners Graham Candy and Richard Drew.

Mr McLaughlin, who is joining from Brightwells estate agents, said: “The firm is entering a new phase of growth and as part of the team I see many opportunities for it to build on its existing service base and expand into new areas.”

A published author and industry commentator, Mr McLaughlin contributes regularly to p eriodicals such as Farmland Market and Land and Business.
