‘Taff’ Morgan-Jones’s 3ft-long, six stone, marrow, above, won the biggest marrow prize at the Wheatley Village Produce Association show.
The gardener grew the vegetable in just three months, after feeding it four gallons of water a day.
The 69-year-old also claimed the Royal Horticultural Society’s Banksian medal for winning most prizes during the show on Saturday.
At the show, Ann Buckingham claimed The Millennium Trophy for winning most entries in the fields of cooking, needlework, photography and decoration.
