A CONVOY of pink cars rolled up at Oxford Children’s Hospital this weekend to raise money for a children’s cancer charity.
Members of the Little Princess charity, which makes real hair wigs for children with cancer, arrived at the hospital yesterday.
Sali Gray, who came up with the idea for the rally, led the 36 pink cars and a large pink coach from Gloucestershire.
Ms Gray, who hopes to raise more than £6,000, said: “It was a sight to behold – a massive sea of pink. We received plenty of toots and waves from passers by.”
She added: “I was very pleased. So many people came forward to take part and we are hoping get more and make it bigger next year.”
Ms Gray came up with the idea for the rallies after buying a pink Nissan Micra and realising it was causing quite a stir.
