OUTDOOR sculptures are catching the eyes of visitors to this weekend’s Stanton St John village festival.
And artist Julian Wild is inviting them to add to his work Making the Connection, constructed out of pipe sections.
The annual festival opened yesterday and continues today.
There are art installations on the Millennium Green and arts and crafts on display in the Holford Centre, along with traditional summer fete stalls and games and a country food market.
Festival chairman Russell Warner said: “It has been a great success, despite the typical English weather.
“BBC Radio Oxford presenter Bill Heine came along to the opening. He lived in the village in 1968, so he has got strong connections with the village.”
