A MUSIC festival was held in Woodstock over the weekend as part of the town’s celebrations of the 900th anniversary of the building of the wall which enclosed the Royal Park.
Launching the festival was duo TP and Woodman, who performed Pink Floyd’s 1979 hit Another Brick in the Wall, while a ‘wall’ at the front of the stage, consisting of painted cardboard boxes created by youngsters at the primary school, was assembled and then knocked down.
Dennis Allen, one of the event organisers, said: “It’s a great community event.”
Other performers included singer Jay Alice, Oxford Brookes University band Soul Funkin Good, Nikki Loy, Charlie Baxter and Blake’s Heaven.
