AS MORRIS dancers go, they certainly break the mould.
With their white faces and dark hair, Pig Dyke Molly looked more like Edward Scissorhands than traditional English dancers.
But the goth group went down a storm at the 46th Towersey Festival, in the village near Thame, on Saturday. Thousands of people headed to the annual five-day event, which finishes today, featuring an array of folk music and dancing.
Headline acts included Bellowhead, Georgie Fame, the Michael McGoldrick Big Band, Martin Simpson Band, The Gruffalo and The Dhol Foundation.
Organiser Joe Heap said: “Everything has been going brilliantly. The attendance is good, the mud has dried and the sun has come out — what more could you ask for?”
