AT LAST the city council will be able to do something about young litter louts.
It is planning to use new powers to take a tougher line with youngsters who drop rubbish in the street.
Until now, under-18s have got away with being messy and, let’s face it, some are the main culprits for the state of our streets.
These fines should be welcomed. As one person we spoke to put it: “Even a 10-year-old should have some semblance of responsibility with regards to litter.”
