Police are appealing for witnesses after a house was broken into in Farmoor.
Thieves got into the property in Oaklands by throwing a large rock through a downstairs window and carried out a search, stealing cash and credit cards.
The break-in happened between 10.30am on Friday and 10.30am on Saturday but details were only released today.
PC Maria Morrisey said: “I would like to hear from anyone who might have seen or heard anything suspicious.
“I would also like to urge residents to be vigilant to criminals. If you should see anyone hanging around acting suspiciously then you need to call the police and let us know.”
