Police are appealing for witnesses following a series of burglaries in Witney over the weekend.
Between 9am on Friday and 1.25pm on Sunday, burglars broke into a property at Hollis Close, Witney and stole a television, laptop and handbag.
The second incident occurred between 11pm on Saturday and 8am Sunday, when burglars entered an unlocked property in Eton Close, and stole £400 in cash, a mobile phone and credit cards.
The third burglary took place between 4am and 7am Sunday at another property in Eton Close. Entry was gained through the rear patio door and a laptop, iPod, mobile phone, handbag and keys were taken, along with a grey Audi A4 Avant Estate.
Offenders also tried unsuccessfully to break into a third property at Eton Close.
Det Sgt Dick White said: “I would urge anyone with information about any of these burglaries to come forward and speak to police immediately.
“I would also warn people to be vigilant to this type of crime. If you see anyone acting suspiciously in your neighbourhood, call us and let us know what you’ve seen.
“People should also ensure that valuables and car keys are kept out of sight and not left lying around, and that doors and windows are kept locked. Don’t make it easy for thieves to steal your valuables.”
Anyone with information about this incident should contact Det Sgt Dick White via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 0845 8 505 505. Alternatively, you can contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
