Police appealed for witnesses after a woman was knocked to the ground and robbed in Banbury last night.
The 39-year-old woman was leaving the Co-op store in Ruscote Arcade shortly after 10pm when the incident happened.
As she was coming out of the store she was approached by two men, one white and one black, who pushed her and pulled her handbag from her shoulder.
During the struggle the woman was knocked to the floor and the men ran away from the scene with the handbag.
Det Con Chris Field said: “The woman was left shaken by the incident, but thankfully wasn’t badly injured.
“I would like to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time who might have seen the robbery, or seen the men as they fled the scene.
“The woman reports seeing two men, but we believe there may have been a third man with the two robbers.”
