Police today appealed for witnesses after a burglary of a fishing tackle shop in Bicester.
Burglars smashed their way into the J & K Tackle shop in Sheep Street at about 3.30am last Friday and stole fishing equipment.
Details of the burglary were only released today, but no details of items stolen have yet been given.
Det Con Sam Bonner said: “The shop is opposite a bar in the town centre and we believe there may have been people who saw the burglary happening.
“We believe that a vehicle may have been used as well, so if anyone saw any suspicious cars in the town centre at this time then we would also like to hear from them.”
Anyone with information should contact Det Con Bonner via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 0845 8 505 505. Alternatively you can contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
