SO CHIEF Constable Sara Thornton says people should get involved more in dealing with antisocial behaviour (Oxford Mail, August 3), but what if they get injured?
The Criminal Injuries Compensation Board will not pay out if the victim was partly to blame, no matter how good their intentions.
Likewise the Crown Prosecution Service will use any excuse not to prosecute.
What is the difference in getting involved and being a vigilante?
