Police this afternoon renewed an appeal for witnesses after a woman was seriously sexually assaulted in Eynsham.
The Thames Valley Police Major Crime Unit are appealing for information to help identify a man who committed a serious sexual assault in Eynsham on Sunday night.
The victim has been interviewed by specially trained officers and has been able to able to provide further details of the man who attacked her.
He is described as, white, 6ft to 6ft 1in tall, 20 to 25 years old, and thin. He had dark hair which was brushed back behind his ears, some of which hung down to the area of his collarbone.
He was wearing a white hooded top, possibly fleece material, that was just below waist length and possibly dark jeans.
Det Insp Kevin McGuire, who is leading the investigation, said “Prior to the attack the victim had a short conversation with an elderly man who was walking a terrier dog in the area and was accompanied by a young child.
"I would particularly like to speak to this gentleman as he may have information which could assist the investigation.”
